On January 21, 2011 the 2011 Management Working Conference was held in the Company. FREP OOP members attended the meeting, with the presence of the departmental GMs and DGMs, in-charge persons from different departments of IPMT, all BT managers and employee representatives.

At the conference, President Lu Dong presented a report titled “Continuous Improvement from Past to Future, To Be a Leading Integrated Refining and Petrochemical Company in Asia”. In the report, he reviewed the work of Year 2010 and the first-term operation management team, and analyzed the situation in 2011. As to the work focuses in 2011, he emphasized that special attention should be paid to the following aspects: 1. improvement and enhancement of HSE performance; 2. long-term operation of the units; 3. optimization of the overall production processes; 4. refined management; 5. development of staff workforce; 6. follow-up work for kicking-off of Ethylene Debottlenecking Project; 7. building of harmonious enterprise.

Vice President Mr. Abdullah H. Al Sebail and Mr. Brian Ablett presented the work reports they are in charge of respectively, and Mr. Liu Yanchang, General Manager of Process Dept., made an introduction on OIMS/GRS.

Group discussions were also made to understand various objectives in document of Key Areas.
