On September 7th, 2010, the donation ceremony themed by “creating harmonious Community hand in hand” organized by FREP and Quangang District was grandly held in Furui Hotel.

   FREP OOP members, including Mr. Lu Dong, Mr. Abdullah H. Al Sebail and Mr. Brian Ablett, Mr. Han Baolin, Chairman of FREP Union, Mr. You Zuyong, Secretary of Quangang District Committee of CPC and District Mayor Mr. Hong Ziqiang were present at the donation ceremony. 

 “Situated in Quangang District with beautiful environment, FREP has received substantial support from the local government and the surrounding masses,” said Vice President Mr. Brian Ablett during the address on behalf of FREP OOP. “During the development of the Company, FREP takes the initiative to bear social responsibilities and makes unremitting efforts to create an environment-friendly enterprise.” FREP will consistently well-perform HSE work and continuously fulfill its responsibilities in pursuit of an environment-friendly and harmonious community to live up to the employees and the community, creating a sound environment where the enterprise and the community develop harmoniously, he added.

   Quangang District Mayor Mr. Hong Ziqiang showed appreciation to FREP for its long-time concern to community construction. “FREP attached great importance to environmental protection over the years and made significant contributions to the co-building of a harmonious community, e.g. providing financial aiding to the drinking water project in Houqian Village of Houlong Town; donating money to No.2 Experimental Primary School and No.3 Experimental Primary School in Quangang District for setup of FREP Foundation for scholarships and research grants; participating in the charity activity titled ‘Spring Rain Action along the West Coast of the Taiwan Straits’,” said Mr. Hong Ziqiang.
  “Today FREP donates RMB2 million once again. It is such a vivid example to demonstrate FREP’s kindness in dedication to the development of the surrounding community amid the seeking of self-development, as well as FREP’s commitment to co-building a harmonious community as a modern enterprise. Quangang District will provide full support to the development of FREP,” he added.

   Vice President Mr. Abdullah H. Al Sebail donated RMB 2 million to Quangang District on behalf of FREP.

   FREP Chairman & President Mr. Lu Dong, on behalf of FREP, received the plaque titled “Be United for Charity to Co-build a Harmonious Community” awarded by Quangang Charity Federation.

   It is learnt that RMB2 million donated by FREP to Quangang District will be mainly used in the surrounding villages of Nanbu Town and Houlong Town to solve some actual difficulties like drinking water, virescence and flood drainage, thus to co-build a harmonious environment. While boosting the local economy and social development, FREP is actively dedicated to social charity and public welfare with a strong sense of social responsibility, winning wide acclaim from all walks of life.
