On July 19, 2008, the oath-taking rally and cultural & art performance for the 100-day countdown to the 6th National Peasants' Games (NPG) was ceremoniously held at the Straits Sports Center in Quanzhou.

On the night, at the fully packed main venue of the Straits Sports Center with a seating capacity of 34,000, Fujian Refining & Petrochemical Company Limited (FREP)presented an array of 300 employees in uniform and bright clothes, which was a spectacular sight in the venue.
