On March 11, 2011, FREP Committee of the Communist Youth League of China organized more than 20 young volunteers to launch a tree-planting and green environment protection campaign with such a theme of “The Youth to Play Leading Role in Green Oil City”. The young volunteers marched out to the Nature to make their own contribution for a green patch for “the New Petro-world” with their own hand. One by one in good order, they went to get the saplings, dig pits, fetch water and hill up the newly planted trees. They wrote their heartfelt good wishes on the cards hanging to the young trees with which they expected to grow together.
